Former IOM Staff Members affected by a Structural Adjustment Plan triggered due to a funding constraint in the last 12 months will be considered internal candidates. ย Under the direct supervision of the Communications Coordinator in Brasรญlia, the selected candidate will be expected to support the Media and Communications team with content production, translations, and administrative-related activities.ย
- Support the production of public and internal information such as press releases and notes, newsletters, reports.ย
- Translate press releases, reports and other documents from English to Portuguese and from Portuguese to English
- Assists in the organization and coverage of online and in-person conferences, meetings, workshops, seminars, and other events.
- Provide support with IOM Brazilโs social medias products and strategy.
- Provide overall support with research and fact-checking to produce communication material.
- Capture images in photo and video.ย
- Support administrative processes related to communications, such as services payments, procurement and planning.
- Ensure all communication materials are under the general branding IOM manual.
- Perform any other duties as may be needed. ย
Required Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma, with a minimum of 3 (three) years of relevant work experience; or
EXPERIENCE
Knowledge in Canva is required.ย Knowledge in CapCut is an advantage.SKILLS
Languages

For this position, fluency in Portuguese and in English is required (oral and written).
DESIRABLE
Working knowledge of Spanish.
