As the Communications Advisor, you will be joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion and equity while being responsible for:
Leading and managing high visibility outreach and liaison activities with important stakeholders. Managing public events, and acting as a liaison with partners, as well as supporting program related outreach activities. Developing, producing, and disseminating high-visibility corporate communications materials tailored to different audiences. You have:
A University degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., communications, journalism, public relations, political science) or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing, and speaking). A minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, including event organization and development of communication strategies. An in-depth understanding of internal communication strategy and public relations. An enhanced knowledge of IDRC, its activities, and the environment in which it operates.You are:
