Work LocationRemote Expected duration12 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesOrganisational Change management is the process of guiding individuals, teams, and organizations through a planned change initiative to achieve desired business outcomes successfully. Change Management aims to provide expertise, support, and resources to facilitate smooth transitions and minimize disruption during periods of change within an organization. The Change Manager plays a key role in supporting the coordination and administration of the change management methodology. This position is responsible for facilitating the application of a structured change management methodology and supporting change management activities including but not limited to development of communication materials and learning materials related to the project, creation of engagement strategies and plans and adoption management. Within the scope of the Fundโs Change Management Approach, the responsibilities include the following: 1. Develop communications content o Prepare and collate project information into bite sized communication content o Ensure messaging alignment across different audiences o Align with internal communications team for dispersal and management of messaging o Prepare communications plan 2. Learning materials o Prepare and collate key learning materials o Developing learning modules and liaise internally to define ideal platforms for dispersal o Take notes and develop FAQโs 3. Change Evaluation Support o Assist in evaluating change requests based on predefined criteria. o Create a base timeline inclusive of deliverables for the change programme dependent on information received. o Gather additional information from stakeholders or subject matter experts to aid in the evaluation process. o Act as a focal point for initial change management scoping. 4. Document Support o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activities within projects where the change methodology is applied o Ensure that change documentation is complete, including decisions affecting the change, impacts on the implementation of the change framework, logs and registers to support the change 5. Change Management Analysis o Support the development and dispersal of change management surveys o Undertake an analysis of change management outputs and identify thematic consistencies o Review deliverables in bulk to determine opportunities and weaknesses o Identify and propose methods to further support people transition o Run interviews and complete stakeholder and impact analyses 6. Lessons Learned o Collaborate with the Change Management Team in conducting post-implementation reviews for selected changes. o Document the outcomes of change lessons and support the implementation of improvement actions 7. Continuous Improvement o Contribute to the identification of opportunities for improvement within the change management lifecycle. Any other duties as required. Qualifications/special skillsBachelorโs degree required in Business Administration, International Relations, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology or related field. At least 5 years of working in a change, learning or communications role within projects is required. Knowledge of the Change Management process holistically is required. Experience of Change Management Framework and knowledge of best practices graphic design, learning, communications, engagement and adoption are desirable. Experience developing learning modules is desirable. Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment is desirable. Prosci Certified as Change Practitioner or any other certificate in Change Management is desirable. LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
