UOSSM is seeking an experienced and visionary Business Development Executive Director to lead our global efforts in fundraising, branding, and strategic growth. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for securing and sustaining critical resources, shaping our brand identity, and building strong international partnerships to support UOSSM's mission in humanitarian medical relief.
This is a flexible/remote role, though preference is given to candidates based in North America or Europe, with the ability to travel within these regions as required for direct oversight and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising and Resource Development
• Design and lead a comprehensive global fundraising strategy to secure diversified, sustainable funding.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with philanthropic foundations, institutional funders, and major donors.
• Set and track measurable fundraising targets aligned with UOSSM's mission and growth goals.
• elaborate with international partners on joint fundraising initiatives and donor stewardship efforts.
Brand Leadership
• Guide the development and protection of UOSSM's global brand identity across all platforms.
• Ensure consistent messaging, visuals, and values while allowing for contextual flexibility.
• Elevate UOSSM's profile as a trusted, innovative leader in humanitarian medical relief.
Marketing and Communications
• Oversee a global communications strategy to increase visibility and engagement.
• Direct digital marketing, storytelling, media relations, and content development in support of brand and fundraising goals.
• Develop and implement brand guidelines and communication protocols.
• Support marketing capacity-building across country offices and partner organizations.
Strategic Growth and Global Partnerships
• Lead the identification and development of new country partnerships, starting with priority regions.
• Design partnership frameworks that ensure brand consistency, governance, and operational autonomy.
• Represent UOSSM in international networks, coalitions, and conferences.
• laborate closely with the Executive Director for Programs and Operations to align growth with service capacity.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of proven executive leadership experience in the iNGO sector, particularly in fundraising, marketing, and brand management.
• Fluent in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong network and experience working with major funders and partners across sectors.
• Deep understanding of the global humanitarian landscape.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly between North America and Europe.
• Preferably resides in North America or Europe.\n\n
