ContextUN Global Pulse Uganda has developed multiple web-based tools to support data-driven decision-making. One of these tools, the Tourism Activity Tracker, provides real-time insights into tourism patterns. However, the tool requires a well-designed user interface to enhance user experience and accessibility. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing responsive web applications using modern front-end technologies and frameworks. He/she should have a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a demonstrated ability to create seamless, high-performance user experiences across various devices and screen sizes.
Task DescriptionDevelop, test, and maintain responsive web applications with a focus on performance and scalability. Collaborate with back-end developers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces. Implement front-end components using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Ensure web applications are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices. Integrate APIs and work closely with back-end teams to develop seamless data interactions. Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end development trends and technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve front-end performance issues and bugs.
