Introduction

Country: Home-based / with travel envisioned to Samoa

Description of the Assignment: Recently, UNDP ran an open, competitive Invitation to Bid (ITB) process which has resulted in the award of a contract for the supply, sea trials, commissioning, training and operations and maintenance of 5 electric vessels (known as 'e-Alias) to the island country Samoa. Now, UNDP seeks to engage an Individual Contractor to review the final design of the e-Alias, provide guidance on the commissioning process, and supervise the works and sea trials on-site in Samoa.

Period of assignment/services: 8 months - with the bulk of the work occurring in March and October.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
