1. Manage the staff advances monitoring system, including maintenance of tracking tool.
2. Audit i-expense reports in oracle following IITA policies and procedures and applicable donor guidelines and follow up to ensure physical documents are approved and filed accordingly.
3. Coordinate the submission of cost recovery and chargeback and ensure timely processing of approved journals.
4. Manage the station fixed asset register and ensure that all assets are tagged and reconciled with headquarters.
5. Support the stationโs monthly financial reporting process to headquarters.
6. Coordinate the compilation and submission of PAYE and NSSF returns.
7. In liaison with the P&C, compile the casual laborersโ payment requests.
8. Participate in quarterly stock counts.
9. Support the fixed assets physical verification and reconciliation process.
10. Generate the station invoices and follow up un outstanding receivables.
11. Participate in the internal and external audit process as may be required.
12. Manage an active filing system, cost recovery/ chargebacks, i-expense, journals, payroll and other financial related documents.
13. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
A bachelorโs degree in accounting and finance, or other related discipline is required At least three years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a not-for-profit organization. Prior experience with donor funded projects. Proficiency in the use of MS office, especially excel. Ability to learn new applications quickly. Possess excellent ability with figures. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision but also participate as a team member in the accomplishment of duties.Benefits
