Purpose and Objective:
The purpose of the consultancy is to:Conceive the layout of Ebola Brochure for the Training of Community and Religious leaders Adapta the layout for Portuguese version of the AAP (Accountability to Affected Population) Report for the IDAI Cyclone Response Design of the layout for one (1) pamphlet and one (1) brochure targeting beneficiaries of social protection post-emergency response and INAS (National Institute for Social Action) community workers (‘permanentes’) respectively
Methodology and Technical Approach:
The Consultant will receive the key content of the brochures and pamphlet and of the report from UNICEF. Based on the document received, the consultant will present the draft of the lay out for comments. After incorporation of the comments the consultant will deliver the final version, which will be submitted by UNICEF to Ministry of Health and National Institute of Social Action (INAS) for approval.
Activities and Tasks:.
Under the direct supervision of UNICEF C4D Specialists, the contractor will be responsible to complete the following activities during the course of the assignment, in line with the above objectives.
Based on the contents, in word format, provided by UNICEF,Develop the layout of the Ebola Brochure with approximately 8 pages. Adapt the layout for the Portuguese version of the AAP report of 40 pages Develop the pamphlet for social protection post-emergency response beneficiaries with key messages on nutrition, hygiene, health and protection. Develop the brochures for social protection community workers (INAS ‘permanentes’) with key messages on nutrition, hygiene, health and protection. Incorporate all the comments Finalize all layouts, provide editable PDF and ready to print versions
Deliverables and Payments:
The contracted graphic designer will deliver the following products:Final version of the Ebola Brochure layout Final version of the Portuguese version of the AAP report Final version of the pamphlet for social protection beneficiaries Final version of the brochure for social protection community workers (‘permanentes’) Ready to print and PDF versions of the approved brochures, pamphlet and report.
Payments will be processed upon acceptance of the corresponding deliverable and against an invoice that will make reference to the contract reference and deliverable number. Payments will be approved by the respective section chief.

The consultant will be hired by UNICEF and will report to the UNICEF Communication for Development Specialist. The consultant will regularly liaise with the with UNICEF-CAPP Section
The contractor will update UNICEF on the process and achievements of the consultancy in a weekly basis by e-mail or by phone. The contract will start on 15th of November 2019 and end on 15 February 2020 .
