Are you looking to develop and widen your experience in fundraising for international development?
If so, this internship could be a perfect opportunity for an ambitious future fundraiser like you!
Health Poverty Action occupies a unique position. We campaign on the root causes of global inequality while standing in solidarity with health workers around the world to support communities that have been pushed into poverty. We recently formed a partnership with Find Your Feet, which bolsters the knowledge of farmers in Asia and Africa to grow enough food for their families while strengthening their voice so they can speak out against injustice.
This internship presents a unique opportunity to learn about the work of two progressive international development NGOs and gain exposure to the whole fundraising team. This will serve as an excellent introduction if you’re keen to get into the sector.
Health Poverty Action and Find Your Feet have exciting portfolios of fundraising campaigns. We are ready to grow these campaigns, as well as develop new initiatives to take our unrestricted fundraising to the next level.
You will increase capacity in the team to help grow our Community and Events campaigns and initiatives. This includes supporting our increasingly successful Curry for Change campaign, school initiatives, connections with religious groups and festive fundraising (carols, concerts and all things merry!).
You will also support the fundraising team more generally, as needed. This may include working on digital acquisition campaigns, aiding on supporter communications, helping with the planning of corporate and major donor events, and much more!
You will develop strong fundraising skills through interaction with colleagues and supporters, and gain valuable experience of multi-tasking in a busy office environment.
It’s an exciting and varied role, but don’t worry if you don’t hit every part of the JD. Please still apply if you have the right attitude, ambition and ability to grow into the role. By working with us you can ensure people worldwide are able to improve their health and livelihoods.
