Purpose of the Position

The job function of the post, under the general supervision of the Marketing Services Specialist and the Resource Mobilization Manager (and in close cooperation with the other PFP areas) will be in charge to implement a full spectrum of digital marketing – from lead generation to optimizing conversion.

Key Accountabilities and Duties & Tasks

Summary of key functions/accountabilities:

Increase UNICEF Argentina income through donor acquisition and donor retention.

Prepare the Fundraising Digital Calendar and PFP Workplan analysing different PFP digital requirements and provide relevant information on digital FR mechanisms, opportunities and trends.

  • Search and analyze digital fundraising trends, opportunities and challenges.
  • Contribute to strategic planning discussions by putting forward ideas to improve our communications based on up-to-date knowledge of digital communication and e-marketing trends

Implement the different Digital FR initiatives and campaigns, providing accurate support and guidance on the use of digital channels (i.e. SEM/SEO,website, eMail, display and Search Engine Marketing).

  • Support the implementation and reporting of the digital strategies for fundraising campaigns.
  • Produce content for the digital platforms including editing and developing content.
  • Maintain a bank of audio visual hardware and software for the use of PFP area.
  • Develop website, emails, prepare imagery and manage CMS systems, including content uploading.
  • Improve in gathering technical specifications for website forms, coordinate and undertake website testing and issue tracking.
  • Interact with external suppliers to drive successful execution of the digital work plan.
  • Ensure in the realization of digital campaigns by providing technical support on choosing the right media, digital platform, target audiences and suppliers.

Up-to-date analysis of digital FR innovation, best practices, opportunities and trends.

  • Provide specialist advice and technical support to colleagues on matters relating to web and e-communication and communication technology.
  • Research and provide information relating to new methods of communication and new media and technologies as required

Develop and implement mechanisms and criteria to coordinate and synergize the different FR digital efforts (suppliers, agencies, digital media)

  • Ensure the specific aspects of the digital platforms and e-communication including maintenance, secure data transfer, analytics and tracking, undertaking short and long term projects
  • Ensure the collating of information - Google Analytics, or similar - to produce reports and analyse trends.
  • Provide information relating to the website, email and text communication, and social media activity for reports and meetings as required.
  • Oversee web traffic and source analytics monitoring and reporting against key performance indicators.

Recruitment Qualifications

Experience: 1 year of progressively responsible work experience in marketing, promotional or fundraising areas. Digital media is essential. Proven proficiency in the use of search engine algorithms, SEO and promotion, content management systems, e-mail broadcasting tools, HTML coding and analytics packages. Experience in any of following marketing areas: social media, web development, relationship marketing/e-CRM, search marketing, integrated media planning, and marketing communications. Knowledge of marketing campaign management processes

Language Requirements: Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

Education: University Degree in Marketing, or relevant field with additional training in a relevant field.
