  • Provide support to prepare annual and quarterly work plans and budgets in consultation with the Project Manager;
  • Data Entry into Atlas/any accounting software in light of ProDoc/Annual Work Plans (AWPs), monitoring of their status, preparation of required budget revisions, determination of unutilized funds, operational and financial closure of project(s);
  • Proper control of the supporting documents for payments;
  • Design CoA of the project to meet donor reporting requirements, align financial data with M&E tools & techniques;
  • Full compliance with UNDP DIM (Direct Implementation Modality) manual, rules and regulations of financial processes, financial records and reports and  proper planning, supporting follow up of audit; implementation of the effective internal control framework;
  • Review the financial aspect the contract of the consultant, implementing partner and service provider;
  • Review the fund request of the consultant, implementing partner and service provider;
  • Follow necessary steps to disburse fund to consultant, implementing partner and service provider;
  • Review bill/voucher, records of the implementing partners and service providers;
  • Support in the process of procuring consultants, implementing partners and service providers; 
  • Assist in tracking the project expenditure as well as of different contract holders;  
  • Assist to prepare and revise annual budget in line with annual work-plan;
  • Assist in maintaining budgetary control of programme activities;
  • Presentation of information for the audit of the project, supports implementation/compliance of audit recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing periodical financial report of different outputs of the project.
  • Provide prompt administrative support to the project manager when required;
  • Provide logistical support to training/workshops/seminar;
  • Documentation of Output, Finance, Admin and HR files;
  • Support to maintain asset register and initiate periodical assets verification exercise; 
  • Logistic support to Project;
  • Maintain records of incoming and outgoing correspondences of the project activities;
  • Assist project team for the procurement of goods and services following PPR;
  • Provide support in preparing various reports, presentation, AWPs of the projects etc.
  • Assist in carrying out research, documentation, codification and analysis 
  • Provide programme monitoring support;
  • Support organizing knowledge sharing/learning sessions.
  • Any other job as assigned by the management.

  • Minimum 02 years relevant experience in Administration, Accounts and Financial management in development projects;
  • Ability to plan own work, setting priorities and completing it under pressure or when faced with competing demands;
  • Experience of UNDP/UN Agency funded project will be preferable;
  • Experience in accounting information systems, auditing and exposure to accounting software and ICT is desired;
  • Experience with governance related project will be given preference;
  • Working experience with UNDP/any UN Agency is an asset.
