ย To support the WASG team in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of WASH Water supply activities according to strategy, proposals, budgets and plans.
Break down the annual operational plans into weekly, monthly and quarterly implementation plans and submit the reports from the water related works as per the reporting schedules.
To assess the water and training needs of the community and assists in the development of appropriate training materials and plans and develop technical specifications and bills of quantities (BOQ) for works.ย
To participate in planning, including raising for the procurement, development and distribution of materials and equipment for the water related activities are timely and according to procedures.ย
To liaise with the community and take lead in the establishment, and training of water point committees as well as monitoring their performance.
Conducts water quality testing, sanitary inspection at water points and the implementation of the WASH safety SoP for all the water related construction activities.
To liaise with the WASH Specialist, PM and support in the provision of information to guide on the context specific technical guidance for water related activities.
To liaise with MEAL and CFM to collect data required for the project and report on GoRs, participate in contributing to ensuring the CFM cases are addressed in a timely manner.
Assists in the compilation of weekly and monthly wash reports, program documents, project proposals, and budgets.
Liaison with the WASH actors, local partners for NRC and represents NRC in WASH coordination meetings as delegated by the PM/Coordinator
Performs any other duties as requested by the PM/Coordinator

Higher diploma in Civil or Water Engineering or Public Health or any other related course.
Previous 2 years work experience in community-based Water and Sanitation programs; Work experience with an INGO is desirable
Must have knowledge of emergency Water supply, Hygiene, Sanitation requirements and protocols
Familiarity with the minimum international standards of Water and Sanitation delivery (i.e., SPHERE) is an advantage
Excellent communication skills โ some written and spoken - in English required.
Must be willing to work as a team member, take direction, and share technical skills with colleagues and counterparts
Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheets is required,
Familiarity with AutoCAD, GPS, Arc Gis and Google Earth is strongly desirable
