Tätigkeitsbereich

GIZ International Services is looking for a Team Leader for the EU funded project “Georgia European Union Integration, DCFTA implementation and SME Development Facility” in Tbilisi, Georgia. The overall objective is to strengthen Georgian public institutions capacity to comply with the commitments under the EU Enlargement Pack including obligations under the EU-Georgia Agreements, with particular focus on EU-Georgia Association Agreement. The project shall support Georgia`s legal and institutional convergence with the EU Acquis and promotion of inclusive and sustainable growth in Georgia including on business, trade, environment and better skills matching as well as Strategic Communication on EU Integration Issues.

Ihre Aufgaben

The Team Leader will have the overall responsibility for the coordination, communication and smooth implementation of the project, for ensuring results-oriented (vs. input-oriented) planning and monitoring of activities, for the efficient use of project human and financial resources. This includes the timely submission of reports and the responsibility for all contractual arrangements related to the project.

The Team Leader will manage the team of experts, assure representation functions on behalf of project, supervise all aspects of the project's work, ensure good and regular communication with the Contracting Authority and main beneficiaries, as well as organize the administrative and logistic support for the project.

She/he will regularly report to the EU Delegation as the Contracting Authority and MFA as a main beneficiary institution about planning and implementation of the project activities.
