What we are looking for:
We are looking for an innovative candidate withย experienceย within business development,ย complex contractual cases. The ideal candidate should have experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors.ย
What you will do:
Some of your specific responsibilities include:
- Maintain and implement the portfolio of private organisations complex contractual partnerships.ย
- Contributing to the development of risk and compliance with the NRCs Capital Fund.
- Support technical lead on implementation of unitโs strategy.
- Support on development of contracts, compliance, and governance documentation, especially on complex cases.ย
- Conduct vetting of potential corporate partners, especially focusing on complex cases.ย
- Support with the development of the sectionโs procedures, especially within compliance and governance.ย
- Support on development on NRC capital fund, including tracking of funding opportunities, risk management and compliance, check lists, vetting of prospects, create terms & conditions for funders, draft agreements for grants and loans for the fund etc.ย
- Support on blended finance models.ย

What you will bring:
- Minimum 7 years of documented relevant experience within business development, complex contractual cases, or other relevant professional qualificationsย
- Documented professional knowledge of the private sector marked.
- Documented results related to strategic relationship building, partnerships and networking.
- Documented abilities to simultaneously manage numerous tasks, project schedules and documents.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and analytical skills.ย
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Communication skills to build bridges between the corporate industry and the humanitarian sector.ย
- Experience working with stakeholders across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Interest in humanitarian and displacement issues an advantage.
- Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, particularly MS Excel and data analysis tools.ย
- Be structured, diligent and have good organisational skills.ย

- Duty station: The ideal candidate must be eligible to live and work in Oslo, Norway.
- Contract: National 2-year contract.ย
- Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRCโs regional salary scale, with accompanying terms and conditions.
